• RC3000 Mount Specific Data (Appendix B for the RC3000 Manual)

  PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
  Many different versions of the RC3000 Mobile Antenna Controller have been produced. There is a single manual that covers the operation of the RC3000. There are a number of appendices, however, that describe the unique characteristics of each antenna mount. For a particular RC3000, appendix B of the User's Manual describes the unique properties of the antenna the RC3000 is configured to interface to.
  
  These unique 'Appendix B' sections are available below. A given 'Appendix B' may cover a variety of antenna types produced by a manufacturer. If your antenna is not listed below. Look at other 'Appendix B' entries for your mount's manufacturer.
  
  The various versions of the RC3000 are identified by a two digit code that is displayed on power up and in the controller's MAINTENANCE mode. For example, the RC3000F for the Andrew 2.4 meter cable drive antenna with resolvers has a two digit code of 'N4'. In this case 'N' identifies the manufacturer (Andrew) and '4' is the Research Concepts designation for that mount. The rc3k_mount_type.pdf (18 K bytes) document list the mount type and two digit code.
